The Assocciation of Marathon Runners of Achaia FEIDIPPIDES has a long history on social awareness movement,  being the Association that strongly supported the local economy of Patras, with the help of the Road Federation (EOSLMA-Y) organizing  charity relay races.

the 1st Patras International Half Marathon welcomes Feidippides runners and their support to spread out the message to all runners. “FEIDIPPIDES” will participate in all distances with group registrations
